

Countertop Pizza Oven
Packaging Design & POP. 2026.
This project included a full packaging redesign and supporting POP materials for a new countertop pizza oven launching at Target. The original packaging had been developed through an outside agency and, while technically on-brand, suffered from cluttered layouts, weak hierarchy, and excessive copy. With the product preparing for retail placement, Target rejected the original packaging direction, creating the need for a fast in-house redesign.
The updated packaging focused on creating a cleaner, more engaging retail experience with stronger shelf presence and easier navigation. Information was simplified and reorganized, unnecessary copy was reduced, and new graphic elements were introduced to bring more energy and personality to the product. A key challenge was balancing accessibility with retailer requirements. Although Target requested English-only packaging, Spanish copy was retained to improve accessibility while still maintaining a clean and readable layout. Supporting in-store POP materials were also developed for additional retail placements.
